The Director, Business Unit Treatment Auxiliaries, is a key member of the COLTENE Group Marketing and Product Management leadership team. This role is responsible for driving both the strategic direction and operational success of all products within the Treatment Auxiliaries segment. It requires strong business acumen and a proven ability to grow sales with consumable products in highly competitive, price-sensitive markets.

- Strategic Direction & Execution: Define and implement the overall strategy for the business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, product margins, and ensure financial targets are met through effective resource allocation and cost management.
- Portfolio Management: Lead the management of the product portfolio, working closely with product teams to optimize product performance, market positioning, and revenue growth.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to guide strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, manufacturing, operations, and regulatory teams to drive integrated initiatives that enhance product and business performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, distributors, industry influencers, and internal leadership to support business objectives.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, integrating new technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operations by streamlining processes, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Talent Management: Mentor and develop team members, including segment heads, product managers and junior product managers, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Work closely with sales and marketing leaders to develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring effective product launches and market penetration.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the business unit, ensuring sustainable operations and continuity of business.
- Reporting & Strategic Insight: Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to the leadership team, driving informed decision-making at the highest levels.
Anforderungen
- Education: Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business management or leadership roles within the dental, medical device, or healthcare industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
- Industry Experience: Experience in dental manufacturing or related regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong Business Acumen: Proven track record of successfully growing MedTech products through distributor channels, with the ability to manage product development and lifecycle for consumables in competitive, price-sensitive markets.
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies, manage P&L responsibilities, and drive organizational growth.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial, analytical, and budgeting skills, with a proven track record in managing budgets and forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative initiatives.
- Innovation & Change Management: Proven experience in leading innovative initiatives and managing change within a dynamic, regulated environment.
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Familiarity with industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements in the dental or medical device sectors.
- Customer & Stakeholder Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry partners.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to addressing complex business challenges.
